I had an amazing evening as presenter for Purple Hearts reunited honoring SGT George Sahlmann for his exemplary service in WWII. An event sponsored by Purple Hearts Reunited, FDNY and Bank of America. A moving evening overlooking the Statue of Liberty. One of our favorite parts was the FDNY escort to the ceremony (below)!
