David Martinez is a Colombian musician, teacher, composer, arranger, and producer based in Westchester, NY. From his early age, his musical work focused on the composition, recording, and production of pop, rock, and contemporary music. His CV has numerous productions, one of them nominated to the Vertical Music Awards in his native country.
Besides production work, his musical career has been addressed to educational processes for children, adolescents, youth, and adults. In his academic career, and as a professor in the Music Faculty of the National Pedagogical University of Colombia for seven years, he has worked in different researching, among which the works of "teaching the piano for teenagers from rock music" - "pop," and "process of pitch tuning for Kindergarden children" stand out.
Currently, Mr. Martinez works as a music teacher in the public schools of NY and develops his production work in parallel. Here is where the beauty of history and musical creation converge to accompany the composition work of the "Roses in a Forbidden Garden" project, which highlights the reality of world history, real love, and the whole socio-cultural and musical context of the writer.
